Another view of Pevensey beach looking west towards Eastbourne

 

 

This boring photograph is taken mid way between the sea on the left and the castle on the right. You can therefore see how flat and vulnerable this area must have been from the sea before being reclaimed. The whole area is known as Pevensey Levels for obvious reasons.
