Celt

Indigenous people of western and central Europe - including Britain. They were skilled in the use of iron and were tall and fair. During the Roman occupation, most Celtic tribes were subdued. Following the Romans, the Saxons pushed them further to the west and north where they developed their own culture and language such as Irish Gaelic, Scottish Gaelic and Welsh. Religion was important to them, especially Druidism.
