Arthur
British military leader who is more popularly known as "King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table". A legendary character who probably did exist but not as the gallant figure we read about or see in films today. It is thought Arthur was a 6th century British commander who led them to victory against the Saxons in the battle of Mount Badon in 518. He was fatally wounded at Camlan in 537. More is said about Arthur, including the legends, in other sections.
